We need our upper limbs for almost all tasks of daily living, personal care and grooming.
Shoulders position the elbows and hands, so they can function at their best and interact with objects in activities.
It takes a pulley to climb the wall
Depending on the diagnosis and impairment, we use a variety of tools to help get the shoulder going, e,g. shoulder pulley, elastic bands, free weights, etc; so the upper limbs can function better to make life work.
We offer Telehealth and supervised exercises from home. The exercise programs are designed such that they can be practiced at home for convenience, even if you recently had surgery.
Home exercise equipment may be purchased at extra costs.
