Physiotherapists assess, diagnose and treat conditions which affect movement, such as back or neck pain, after-effects of surgery, nerve injuries, disability due to stroke, trauma, or congenital conditions such as cystic fibrosis.

Physiotherapists help patients by encouraging each person’s natural intrinsic healing potential (e.g. through education and exercises) and use natural, not just physical means (e.g. manual therapy and physical modalities such as heat, cold and sound waves) to improve function, maximise independence, and promote health and personal wellbeing.

As one can glean from its etymology, physiotherapy is derived from two Greek roots: phusis ‘nature’ and therapeia ‘healing’. It denotes healing by natural means, not just physical means.

At Well and More Clinic, we honour the ideals of natural healing, proactive wellbeing, and health promotion. We help people get well, stay well, and achieve the healthiest version of themselves.
